Fun Science Experiments For Kids [sciencetechnology-center.blogspot.com]

There are unlimited amounts of fun science experiments that you can do when you're looking to do a project for school or leisure. All you have to do is pick a category and topic that you enjoy and you'll be on your way. You're going to have a lot more fun and get better grades in a science fair if you actually enjoy the science experiment you're doing because you'll be more likely to put your very best effort into it.

Fun science experiments can include testing your friend's or family's sense of smell. You can do this by taking several different scents and placing each one into a different container. You then can poke several holes in the container lid and write on the bottom of it what you put inside. Some recommendations of scents to use might be some cinnamon, vanilla, lemon juice, baby powder, etc. You should make a chart of the different scents so you can keep track of how many people knew what each scent was. Each column should include recording the subject s, and each scent they were tested to recognize.

Then you simply get a few people and let them smell each container and mark down whether or not they could recognize the smell. Whatever question you come up and project you choose to do, just make sure it's something you enjoy and are genuinely interested in finding out the answer to because the amount of effort you put into it will determine what sort of grade you will get. Have fun!

Question by celloist123: What is taught in a political science class? Answers prefered from people who have taken the class before.? I'm in high school, but I'm taking a political science course in college. I'm just curious about what is talked about in the class (I know the basics, but specifics would be nice if possible), what are some general homework assignments, and how difficult is the class. Also, any tips for the class would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Best answer for What is taught in a political science class? Answers prefered from people who have taken the class before.?:

I've not only taken it in college, but taught it. Basically, PolSci 101 is about the USA government, including study of the Federal Constitution. You are required to pass a college level test on the Federal Constitution, to graduate, least they used to require that. Other topics were be study of political parties, elections, separation of powers, powers of state governments and how elections are held. Normally a "big" assignment will be to write a paper describing some major aspect of the course, giving your opinions, and also presenting opposing arguments, and defending your arguments if different from standard interpretations/conclusions. A good professor won't be concerned whether you are liberal or conservative, only that you can defend different positions, much like a good team member on a debate team. Good luck.

Political science is a very broad subject, some professors may take you on a journey from ancient Greek systems to modern day governments. Some might just focus on American politics. It really depends on your professor and the exact sort of class they are teaching. Below are some syllabuses from a few political science 101 classes. http://polisci.osu.edu/faculty/jbox/Courses/ps101/ps101_jbox_wi06.pdf http://www-personal.umich.edu/~mmanty/syllabi/PS101_fall02.pdf
