Forensic science is a multidisciplinary science used to provide impartial scientific evidence for use in the courts of law, drawing principally from chemistry, biology, physics, geology, psychology, social science and other subjects. In a forensic science program, one learns how to identify the boundaries of a crime scene and understand the principles of searching the crime scene for specific types of evidence, such as fingerprints, forensic identifiable material and other items of evidentiary value. you could do a project on genotypes and phenotypes the structure of Deoxyribonucleic Acid. (DNA) Punnett squares, and the genotypes you got from your parents. if you know what that is. im in 7th grade so..... you probably will

As a society, we have to do something to get kids back outside and breaking a sweat, rather than pushing a mouse. Bring in some simple flowers from the florist, or better yet, go out and pick some. Using a diagram as well as simple dissection, teach them not only the parts of the flower, but also how they are pollinated by insects, especially honey bees. We are losing our honey bee populations, and this will devastate world food sources. It sounds simple and elemental for the 8th grade, but somehow we need to teach conservation in this country, rather than "utilization of every resource".
