I found it very interesting, but it was pretty hard to believe, especially the metal that was developed to create their ship. The one that stands out to me the most is the recent version of "The Day the Earth Stood Still". Klaatu's ability to jumpstart machines and people was stupid, and the nanotech that was used to "eat" everything is silly in the fact that if such creatures existed, how would you contain them and control them? The Star Wars series has always been pretty unabashedly unscientific. Spaceships going "whoosh" in the vacuum of outer space? A giant worm with teeth living on an asteroid?
