Question by ᛉ AlÑ"x ᛉ: How can ATHEISTS Believe in science when it changes it's mind every five minutes? Science is like a religion to Atheists. Used to be "science" said rocks cant fall out of the sky cause there are no rocks in the sky? And now not only are meteors real, but that's wat killed off the Dinosaurs cause there was no Flood! Isn't "science" the biggest LIE ever in denying God? Best answer for How can ATHEISTS Believe in science when it changes it's mind every five minutes?:

Answer by Frodo Baggins
Can't tell if troll or just stupid.

Answer by No Chance Without Buddha
What does one say to something this inane? Words fail me.

Answer by Lil Jippy
they're dumbasses. lol athiest and their need to correct my puncuation. lol. ps. most of the world believes in god. you athiest are just weird. oh and pss. I'm an ex marine so I could kick all your asses. lol.

Answer by Alpha Beta
You proceed from false assumptions and a lack of understanding about what science is. Science does not change it's mind every five minutes. Science is a methodology, not a religion.

Answer by EscalatorKid
Are you a troll, or are you just incredibly stupid? I'm guessing a lot of both.

Answer by Ceiling Cat
it has a self correcting mechanism, does religion?

Answer by Forever Fixed At Zero
Because science is prepared to be wrong to prove something true. Religion isn't. I don't believe in science - it's not like I read my AS Biology work like religious scripture. It just helps me answer things. Believing IN it makes it sound like a religion. I just believe it.

Answer by kowalchuk
Actually, science never changes. Only our knowledge and understanding of it.

Answer by Dan
God never changed his mind? He created us, then destroyed us (Noah). United us, then separated us (Babel). He condemned us, then forgave us (Jesus). need I cite more?

Answer by Derek Schulte
And yet there are some 50 revisions of your "perfect" bible written by your "God" as most people stupidly believe. Science changes as more evidence appears. Christianity changes to suit the person talking the loudest.

Answer by Iasa Tiku
At least science is fluid. Those who research, both scientists with credentials and the laymen educating him or herself, are not resistant to accepting when new proof comes along to make previously held "facts", untruths.

Answer by Paul
Changing it's mind constantly doesn't mean that the whole ideal is fake. The changes are more or less a good thing, because we often get more accurate with each change and learning from mistakes.

As a general note, Lewis unfortunately knows what he is doing but he will add some good old English commentary on top of his amazing skill. Expect him to get stuck though! Enjoy. ►Portal 2▼ Portal 2 follows the player-character Chell after the end of Portal, in which she destroys the rogue artificial intelligence construct GLaDOS that ran the Aperture Science Enrichment Center where the game is set. In Portal's backstory, Aperture Science conducted experiments to determine whether human subjects could navigate dubiously safe "test chambers", until GLaDOS killed the scientists with a neurotoxin. The ending of the first game, retroactively patched just prior to the sequel's official announcement, shows Chell being dragged away from the remains of GLaDOS by an unseen figure with a robotic voice, later identified by writer Erik Wolpaw as the "Party Escort Bot." A promotional comic shows that an estranged Aperture Science employee placed Chell into suspended animation for an indefinite amount of time, in an effort to save her life. Chell wakes to find herself in what appears to be a motel room. An announcer's voice guides her through a cognitive test before she is put back to sleep. When she ...

Portal 2 - Walkthrough Part 10 [Chapter 5: The Escape] - W/Commentary

This is one of our elementary science ideas where we are going to make a model of an erupting volcano. Before you make the model you have to explain what a volcano is and how your science project illustrates a real volcano. Even the most elementary science ideas have to be explained if it is to be of any use.

So here are the questions you have to answer first:

What are volcanoes? What do volcanoes produce? What makes a volcano erupt? How does your experiment explain it?

As this is one of our elementary science ideas, we will not go into too much detail. The basics should be enough to make a small kid understand how it works.

Here are the answers in short; if you want more detail it may be a good idea to look further:

Volcanoes are placed where molten rock pushes up from below the earth through cracks in the crust of the earth. Contrary to what people believe, volcanoes do not only produce molten rock or lave, it also produces a lot of gases such as steam and carbon dioxide. Some of the gases are pushed into the air. Some of the other gases are mixed with the lava. It is the gas in the lava which makes the volcano erupts. Your experiment is going to show how the carbon dioxide, which you are going to produce by mixing baking soda and vinegar, makes your volcano "erupts!" What you need for this project:A large flat plastic tray or a bin lid A seed tray or something similar without holes A measuring jug 4 Tablespoons baking soda 4 Tablespoons flour A stirring rod A funnel A plastic bottle Sand White vinegar Red food coloring How to do this project:Make very sure your jug is dry to prevent the ingredients from sticking to the sides of the jug Now you empty the baking soda in the jug and you add the flour. Mix it thoroughly with your mixing rod Place a completely dry funnel in the neck of your bottle Pour the mixture through the funnel into the bottle Empty the sand into the seed tray until it is about half full Fill your jug with water and pour it into the tray, just enough to make the sand sticky with out making it too wet. Just enough so you will be able to mold it Mix it with your mixing rod Place your bottle with the soda and flour in the middle of your flat tray or lid. Pack the sand around it to form the shape of a cone to represent the outside of your volcano Pour the vinegar in the jug and pour your red food coloring in, enough to make the vinegar a rich red color Place the funnel in the mouth of your plastic bottle Quickly pour the vinegar into the bottle and remove the funnel from the bottle as fast as you can Watch your volcano erupt! Why does it happen? By mixing the vinegar and soda you are producing carbon dioxide. This gas makes the flower turn frothy and forces it out of the bottle just as the gases in the molten rock in a volcano makes it erupt.

This is one of our elementary science ideas that the kids love because of the spectacular results.
